Alternatively... It doesn't matter how despicable a person you seem to be on the outside to the viewers. Whereas to someone like Georgina who hears about these things it does matter and leads to her distrusting a person like Evelyn.
Can we acknowledge that maybe, just maybe, georgina's dislike of Evelyn is based on her being the sort of person that does that and that is a far more legitimate reason to dislike someone than a someone saying "Stupid cow"
