And this response comes as a surprise to who? People that want to deny prejudice and racism exists maybe but this is exactly the sort of response black people have been hearing for decades and what we've come to expect this is exactly why tension has reached boiling point.
And yes, racists expect us to act ''accordingly '' to fix a problem they've created. If you truly wanted a ''fix'' actually listen to the voices speaking and acknowledge things from the point of view of the person crying out.

The only actual racism I have seen in the last week is from the shooter in Dallas killing white police officers.
