If CBB13, BB13, and CBB14 had all aired in the same year would you consider it to be the 'Golden era' of Channel 5.

I know a lot of people would choose CBB15/17 over 14 but I made it so there was a Winter CBB, Civillian and Summer CBB series included, and for me 14 is the best Summer CBB.

Tbh 2012 was a great year for BB with CBB9, BB13 and CBB10 all airing. So I'd probably say that's the C5 'golden era'.

CBB14 ****s all over CBB16 imo. 14 had the MESS that were Lesley, Frenchy and Gary, the underrated rivalry of Audley and James, Kellie's hero to zero arc, and a perfect final 3. Whilst 16 had what exactly? James and Austin's bromance, Janice's disappointing (compared to IAC) stint and Farrah staying in far too long whilst acting like a cock all of the time. Oh and possibly one of the worst themes ever lol.

At least most of the forum can agree on CBB13 being a classic

CBB14's first week or so was amazing, after that it was fine but nothing special imo. CBB16 was brilliant for the entire series for me. I really don't get the suggestion that it had nothing when it was constantly eventful (and had way more happening than CBB14 did beyond it's first week)

And CBB13 remains overrated too imo

The fact I didn't have a proper favourite is probably a deciding factor in why I dislike it so much. Even my profile favourite Scoop kind of became quite crap after like Day 5, as he constantly sided with Farrah and Jenna. And once he left there was only really Bobby who I was supporting ( ). But in CBB14 I had 2 very strong favourites in Gary and Audley, and they just so happened to finish 1st and 2nd.

CBB13 is Channel 5's best series. It just felt so 'Channel 4'. It was casted perfectly too.

Ah yeah, if you don't really have anyone to support that can definitely effect your enjoyment of a series. I was sort of like that with CBB13, I LOVED Liz and my next favourite after her was probably Lionel but Liz was the only one I was strongly supporting. I didn't even watch the final because I was so disinterested in the result.

In terms of a consecutive run you could do worse than BB13-CBB10-BB14.

I would say CBB16-CBB17-BB17 is decent too but CBB16 was ****ing appalling and I assume CBB18 will be easily better than it

I think CBB already has a golden era of it's own which is from CBB13 to the present day, hopefully it lives on. Normal BB wise I've only really liked BB14 & BB17 so yeah they'd have to be in front of each other.
