I'm really (really ) not having a dig at you, Paula, but the obsession some people seem to have with HM and viewers ages bothers me. It's like the fat-shaming thing - some seem to think it's okay to criticise people they perceive as "older", based on the assumption that they are boring and of less value than "younger" people.

Great point, Clootie. I'm thinking that to a lot of BB viewers, anyone over 30 should be decomposing quietly. In order to be "entertaining" you need to be under 30, can't handle your alcohol, have dubious sexual contact with a variety of people, have no self-control, ave no conversation other than sex and make a bloody nuisance of yourself.

This kinda works both ways though in honesty. Anyone who supports the 'younger' (ie. more annoying) housemates have been written off as tweens, horny housewives and such.

Don't really understand this 'older/younger' divide thing fans are creating...it existed at first but its definitely not there now.
