I believe 'transgender' is a mental illness. In the same vein as BDD. Should be dealt with by counseling. Not mutilation, ****ing about with long term hormones (of which we aren't even sure are safe long term) and sterilization. This is a fairly recent opinion I have came to as I was the total opposite until a month or so ago.

To be clear I have nothing against transgender people at all. Whatever makes them happy and that. I just feel it is damaging to be promoting this viewpoint that you can actually change sex (which you cannot), that there is any NEED to attempt to change sex just because of how you like dressing and such, and am absolutely disgusted that kids are being 'trans'ed by the day and having their puberty delayed simply because they don't follow stereotypes.
