I know of several cases where this is not true...I wouldn't say it's 50/50 yet....but I personally hear of more and more recent custody battles ending up with the father.

It may be better over your side of the world, it's certainly very much in favour of mothers here. Fathers rights is certainly an area that needs updating

Not true. Custody *usually* goes to whichever parent is the main carergiver unless there is a good reason for that not to be the case (he has a dick doesn't count)

Just so happens more women stay home with the kids while men work to support the family. Might have something to do0 with men tending to earn more..or child rearing being seen as a 'womans job'
