Think about it the stairs go upwards in the direction of the bar area and you turn right to enter the kitchen. So there shouldn't be a kitchen window because that wall is against those flats that are directly next door.

Yet the kitchen has a window view out onto the Square.

It doesn't because the kitchen is still on the right side of the stairs when you walk up so that room is on the wall which shouldn't have windows.
