Seriously though a BBCan All Stars would be great, the fact the entire cast is like a family means everyone would take everything personally...isn't that what people love on Big Brother and Survivor? The potential for drama would be sky high

For me I always prefer fresh faces and new characters because all BBUS seasons with returning players have been pretty awful (EXCEPT BB13 but only because the returning players [bar Dani] were so awful and I really rooted for the other side so hard) (oh and BB11 I guess but it was just Jessie who was a slightly lesser version of himself)

I know it's an unpopular opinion but besides the ending I think BB7 is as near to perfection you can get on an All Stars series, but then I have a penchant for returnee seasons of reality shows in general so I'm slightly biased

I have a source who works in production who has confirmed that the season will be an all-stars season and that there will be no international houseguests, despite the rumours. The rumours that the sideshow has been cancelled are true. The cast (which has yet to be finalized) is down to around 20 past contestants and given that two of them will be probably used as a backup, it means that 2 more will be cut once we get closer to the premiere date. There will be likely 4 returnees from each season unless there is an extenuating circumstance.

The list of returnees will be as follows

* Adel Elseri
* Kenny Brain
* Neda Kalantar
* Rachelle Diamond
* Ika Wong (Alternate)

* Ashley Wood
* Sarah Hanlon
* Willow Macdonald (Alternate)
* Phil Paquette (Nick will not be on)
* Mitch Moffit
* Jared Kesler (Alternate)
* Cassandra Shahinfar
* Loveita Adams

Neda, Sarah, Godfrey and Mitch are who casting wants to select but they are still considering the offer. Their alternates are Ika, Willow, Jordan and Jared respectively.

Casting calls for this season had a much more limited budget due to the impending all-stars season but a few were given phone calls and shortlisted for season 6 although it has not been renewed yet. They are in a position with the network that they are confident that it will be renewed though, especially since an all-stars season will increase ratings.

Two contestants will get the chance to become two time winners of Big Brother Canada, those being Sarah Hanlon and Phil Paquette (or our first 1.5 time winner).

I will update you guys when they finalize the cast and reduce the final 20 down to the final 18 (two backups will remain until the very beginning of the season, one male and one female).

This is likely humongous BS but I'm posting it cause we didn't get the premiere date after all today ()

An All Stars season without Tim and Nikki should already not be happening, but that list would actually be pretty uninspiring, so if that's the cast they'll assemble I'd rather it wait

BBCan could definitely assemble a fantastic All Stars cast after only four seasons (in many ways the earlier they do it the better, so more good houseguests make the cut), but that list really isn't it

I looooove that cast list. PLEASE be an accurate list & please actually be an All Stars season. Just don't bother with the alternates unless maybe Ika for some added drama/entertainment.

The only people who don't make sense are Liza (ew) & Ashleigh (who I don't mind tho) as well as alternates Jared/Willow.

The few castings that I don't like make perfect sense for an All Stars season at least and I would expect them there regardless (Peter/Sarah/Cassandra).

Peter will obviously be awful, I loved Talla, Adel, Sarah and Godfrey but I could easily see them falling into camwhore territory spewing out DR-fed lines and wacky catchphrases once they return (and we would already have Kevin, Jordan AND Peter for that), Kenny and Rachelle suck (seriously, RACHELLE is an All-Star?!), Ika is overrated (take away lettergate and she's just a mean girl), Ashleigh, Willow and Phil are hardly All-Stars

I guess I'd be happy to see Loveita being a mess but the rest I'm indifferent on. I don't know what's come over me but I think I'd be most excited to see Liza being a "SCHEMING FUCKING WHORE" with no distractions this time????

IDK, I'm holding out hope that this isn't true because LIZA being chosen over Suzette and Jillian and Topaz (who really isn't much outside of her finale **** up but still) is literally illogical, as is ****ing Willow being an alternate among a bunch of other things everyone else pointed out. But if this is true... yikes. IDK, I know everyone here gushes over BBCan but it really took a huge drop in quality after they switched from Slice to Global and the last two seasons have just been not as atrocious BBUS seasons. This possibly fictitious All-Stars cast list would set things up for three unspectacular seasons in a row so we'll see!
