Any person with any occupation should be able to voice any political opinion at any time in any place for any reason
You may not like it, that is fine, but you seem to be arguing for him to be silenced altogether. You, I and this guy do not need to visit a committee in parliament to voice our opinion, we can simply just do it. On TV, on a public forum, in a pub, or in our minds - shouldnt make a difference.

You should argue against the things that he says, not the fact that hes saying it in a way that you dont want him to. Thats just childish.
