Sonia has been off screen since September when she took a job outside of Walford to coincide with the birth of Natalie Cassidy's second child last year.

However, it looks like Natalie's maternity leave might be over already as she was spotted on the EastEnders set in Elstree recently.

It's not clear whether Natalie was actually back for filming, for talks with the EastEnders bosses, or merely just to see her friends. But for Bex's sake, let's hope it's the first one...

Louisa Lytton has ruled out a potential return to EastEnders - admitting that she's not been asked to come back as Ruby Allen.

The actress played the daughter of gangster Johnny on the BBC soap for a year and a half between 2005 and 2006 - but is still constantly asked about the show 11 years later.

Speaking about whether a return to EastEnders was likely, Louisa told BANG Showbiz: "No, they haven't (asked me).

"I'd never say no but again, it's not really my choice or decision - it depends what they would do as my character.

"Obviously I've been out of the show long enough so there is definitely room for her to go back but I don't really know at the moment."
