I'm glad they kept them alive. If Bradey and Hindley had been hanged, we would never of had that confession in 1985 about the murder of Keith Bennet and Pauline Reade. We would never of found the body of Pauline Reade or Lesley Ann Downey and Keiths mum would never of known if it was those two monsters who took her little boy.
Far too many psychopaths have their life sentences shortened. For Bradey and Hindley, life meant life and that's how it should be. Bradey begged to be hanged and at one point he said he would give the full whereabouts of Keith if he could commit suicide after. Death would of been a less painful sentence.

hmmm not sure about that to think your sons body is laying out on that moor lost forever is upsetting. he deserved a proper burial. Ive been to the moor many a time and it such a bleak cold place. it is high elevation, it is cold, it is windy, its often misty and spooky. its not a nice place to be lost. |
