The problem with the housemates they put in currently is that they are too 'media trained' and know exactly what to do to generate a reaction.

I was speaking to someone who works on the show who mentioned that there was a big argument and then 5 minutes after, they're laughing and joking and saying 'I bet hat makes good tv'. I don't see the point in watching fake arguments / drama. If I want that I could just watch a soap.

Big brother should be normal people who are cast correctly. They may not argue every minute but at least when they do you know it's REAL and that there are real feelings involved and sometimes those housemates may take a while to make up.

At the minute it feels like it's almost scripted.

Ok, so let's watch fake arguments and romances then, as long as it makes quick good telly with no actual meaning behind any of it. There are plenty of shows that already do that and in fact where most recent housemates have come from or being rejected from like: 'The Only away Is Essex, Made In Chelsea' et al.

At least with Big Brother, what you're supposed to be seeing is REAL and with the right casting it can be achieved! C5 just plow wannabes with set storyline agendas alcohol every night and hope for a few arguments - it's lost all meaning!
