It reminds me of the votes in the local elections prior to an election - people often vote differently to they do in the real election just to keep the PM on their toes and as an opportunity to air their concerns - but when it comes to the real thing they stick with how they really feel and what makes them feel the most secure.

I wouldn't read too much into these results if I were you. Could mean coming back down to earth again with a very big bump.
