Well.. Do you support the EDL? It looked like the EDL had about one supporter (Tommy himself) in the audience of ~200-odd, and if you dont think thats representative of the GBP, I dread to think what your circle of friends must look like! Its well over representative imo, as if 1 in 200 support the EDL.

I think he confuses the fact that he "has the voice of a working class person" with "being THE voice of all working class people".

That's not intended as a slur against working class people... Just the (common and age old) assumption that anyone with a stronger accent must therefore speak for all of the "normal folks" in their area.

For me it's an admission that some 'working class' are easier to influence, otherwise why are they the only ones who are receptive to his 'truths'?
