Yep always have to put my slippers straight on when I get in. I don't know why you'd wear them to take the dog out though, then you just bring all the dirt from outside into the house

No, not slippers.
I wear leather mules with a little wedge, not too good on my feet so they help my balance. Bare foot is dangerous if you moisturise your feet then walk down stairs....as hubby found to his cost ![]() ![]() |

I got a pair of those moisturising socks... you put the lotion on your feet and then wear the socks in bed. Makes your feet lovely and soft. Got out of bed the next morning, I was okay in the bedroom because it's floor boards. Got to the carpeted bit at the top of the stairs and did a cartoon fall. Both my legs shot out in front of me and I ended up on my backside. So yes, I can attest that moisturised feet are dangerous.
