I have to agree on the point that Raphs popularity on here was pretty much based on the fact that he was a fellow forum member and based on little else.
Some of us...and that includes myself, dared to point out negative sides and often set upon with ridiculous comments like.."well for someone who doesn't like Raph, you make a lot of posts about him"...or we were just put on ignore.
Pathetic really considering most were valid points. It kind of put me off posting anything...and that's sad considering it's a forum.

So you don't think that most of the negative stuff that was said about Raph made him out to be more sinister than he actually was? Even in his eviction interview he was exactly the same as he was in the house.

I honestly think that there's more to my point that he lost because of no home territory than him bagging 2nd place purely off of TIBB because that is just impossible to do.

That's just my point Mystic...perhaps people thought he was more sinister than others like you believe.
Raph played the game..he knows how to..he is a super fan. I found him sneaky and manipulative and that WAS his game.He probably isn't like that on the outside world...so his comments in his interview IMO were untrue.I don't think his loss was anything to do with not being on home territory...in that case why didn't Tom win with the whole of Wales voting for him.
Isabelle won because she was authentically humble..she didn't gossip or manipulate..she didn't play a victim or play 'the Outsider' role. It became clear at the end that she lacked confidence and self esteem but she never played on it.
Let's be honest a minority of people on here posted negative comments...it had no effect to the result...Isabelle was simply more liked.

Tom lost because for starters there are more English people than Welsh people that will be watching BB, and Tom didn't inherit any die hard BB fans support because he was a grass about Raph's VT. And of course being up Lotan's ass.

And I honestly don't get what was so sinister about Raph that was any different from people like Kieran, Tom, Ellie, Sam, and Joe? Or hell most of them in there including Isabelle?

There's nothing sinister about Raph. He's a bit of a geek, but that's not a bad thing. I find him quirky and intelligent.

I didn't say he was sinister and I didn't say anyone said he was sinister...you used the word I just replied quoting your terminology.
