I used to walk up the stairs at night, and when I walked up them normally/made a noise, a deep laugh would emerge from my parents room.
My parents explained that it was the old man who lived nextdoor... Two years later he died, and the laughing continued. Nobody could offer any explanation as to what it was. Also, throughout my life, sometimes something comes over me when im in my bed trying to get to sleep, and paralyzes me with fear. I don't know what it is, but it feels awful and stops me from moving, and makes me feel something besides just fear. Ive had it since I was a child and still don't know what it is, but it tends not to happen that much anymore. It happened to me this week, the first time in years. Ive never seen a ghost, though ive had friends genuinely tell me stories about how they have. Personally, I don't believe in ghosts existing on a different "plane" and having the choice to reveal themselves only during night time hours. But I still don't know what was going on with my above two experiences. |
