I hate boring ol circle plates, i have oval, square, rectangular as well as circle at home

And i like having mine served on quirky things when eating out at a restaurant

I just wish fish shops and fish restaurants would learn how to cook decent chips

I have a hygiene problem with wooden boards in particular,would these go through a dishwasher all the time ?

Have to agree with this. Hate being served up food on those wooden blocks. The amount of times I have complained to my friends 'I just want a proper plate'.

Plates Yes but not bloody round ones ! I hate round plates i don't own any, its oval plates for me - round plates are stupid.

I'd imagine so, I worked in a few bars/restaurants when I was younger and everything went through the dishwashers

omg same here, the two fish and chip shops near me would have nice chips if they bloody cooked them properly, everytime they get busy (which is alot) the chips are half raw

We used to blanche our chips, then it's a quick dip in hot oil for lovely crispy cooked chips.

In Bulgaria when i had fajitas they brought it on in like a small wok and big oval plate

I dont see what difference it makes. If the thing is clean then I dont care if a block or a slate or a plate

I always use wooden chopping boards (hard wood) because I believe they hold a lot less bacteria than plastic ones but I really don't want my food served on a rectangular chopping board because its flat and food too easily falls off the edge.

I buy and sell lots of vintage ceramics and so often change my plates. At the mo i am rocking Denby Marrakesh

Denby ware is tough and resistant to chipping
