There are loads of people struggling with their gender identity and mad crap like this does nothing to help them in their struggle. As always the maddest, loudest people get heard.

The most laughable aspect of this is that that phrase predominately exists indeed almost exclusively within the trans community, so they are censoring themselves . I have absolutely no reason to use that phrase, its never even crossed my mind to ask women that I have met .... were you "born a woman"
