I think it's incredibly rare for teens to take notice of their parents views never mind their grandparents and those that do are very much in the minority

You only have to read this forum to see how we all have different opinions...how many see the good in some and others see a totally different character. It's life..we are all different...we all have different agendas..different opinions...different priorities. We live in a democratic country where people have a say BUT someone will win in a vote and some will lose...how fairer can we be.

Yes, true. But 'Ann didnt hurt anyone' is what I responded to, she has and she probably did tonight too, fortunately Shane has presumably helped the people who were hurt by Ann's words on some level.

Don't be ridiculous if you take this form as a straw poll you wouldn't get one young person who agreed with Ann and very few of the oldies either, that said i respect her right to air her views and follow her faith without censure

Youve assumed that all young people would be confident in lgbt attitudes across the country though. Theyre not really, they gain a consensus from friends or tv, and that isn't as positive as tibb.

I believe she almost definitely hurt at least one person tonight with her words, that was our initial discussion. Her words were dated and would clearly have a negative effect on some people. You have anything to add apart from 'lol no'?
