Youve assumed that all young people would be confident in lgbt attitudes across the country though. Theyre not really, they gain a consensus from friends or tv, and that isn't as positive as tibb.

No goalposts have been moved, I don't believe anyone was upset by Ann's comments so it looks like we are at stalemate

Of course she did....because many will disagree with her opinion. That doesn't make her a bad person. If anything it might open the minds of young people and get them to play an active part in politics by going out and voting for people to represent them in government where these decisions are ultimately made.

Dated is opinion-based and does not mean wrong. Current can equate to faddy with people often not thinking for themselves and going with the crowd. If people are so easily offended they are clearly in the wrong house. Your comments sound pretty snow-flakey to me.
