Now that both Veronica and Merron have gone almost back to back, is it fair to say that this twist has been an utter and complete failure?

Tbf it was always going to be like that though, considering how unfair it was.

They should have just have all of them enter, stay for one week and then do the vote. Or rather have all 4 of them there in the beginning without any kind of vote at all.

Veronica & Merron did their part but yeah the twist was a flop and not even very relevant at all.

They had no hope from the start with their shoddy story they told it made everyone not trust them. They should have walked in and said they where late entries and left it at that not the whole we where in the audience.

In BBAUS 2008, they had three gatecrashers enter the house on Day 7, though two of them got evicted on Day 10 while the other one on like Day 29...

The audience were never about to vote the two highlighted as gameplayers in. Veronica eventually spiced things up with the rogue vote but I suspect it was on the producers encouragement, they sacrificed her to get the house more alive.

They could have lasted, but the house seem bent on voting out anybody with a personality this year so they didn't stand a chance.

I didn't think Merron had that much of a game, he was advertised as just being a sociable person really, the same with Veronica. Most likely the wrong ones were voted in.

Kirsten would've been the the first week possible and Mikey would've followed suit (unfortunately for both, as I wanted the Devils) but V proved she was entertaining and I loved her and it's a shame she missed Jury. Merron was just a bit, not forgettable, but not there?

Stupid twist IMO. People entering in last are always going to be targets. Who knows how different the game would have been for Veronica and Merron had they entered like everyone else. I don't even feel like it added anything to the story.

I didnt mind Veronica but I just found Merron annoying at the end, just complaining and sulking most of the time.

Also the more I think about it Veronica wouldn't have lasted at all if she was in from the beginning, it's actually a miracle she made it to week 4

I think any of the four gate crashers were going to fail. I think they just wanted to have two people arrive late and make a twist happen.

Though, Veronica could've been there had she not cast that rogue vote.
