There's no excuse for the abhorrent bullying, and the comments were racist whether the intention was for them to be or not. However, I do hope this documentary can put the entire thing at rest because the entire ordeal must be such a misery for everyone to go through again. As fascinating it was, there's just no need to relive it again. It's interesting that the press were the bullies that got away with it, but in a way social media has taken that badge from them. Even the comments from people online about this show are really disgusting.

I really do hope for peace for Jackyie, in particular. She's too vulnerable to be put in these positions and have to relive the trauma again and again.

Didn't watch the show but at the time Jo disappointed me the most. I really liked her until she did CBB. Was shocked. Wasn't shocked by Danielle. A bitch through and through.

This was hard to watch. Some funny moments when the celebs fumed about Jades family being there though!

She really knew how to put her foot in her mouth god bless her. I cringed when she started changing Shilpa’s name again in the DR after being warned about it tbf if this was Ch5 CBB she probably would’ve won.

Sometimes I wonder why Shilpa ever did CBB. I was on her side but she probably did look down her nose a bit.

That was so hard to watch. The servants task was awful, tedious and uncomfortable to watch and really set the tone for the series. I don't get why they did the whole family thing, it was stupid. Jade entering by herself and mixing with 'proper' celebs would have been a good twist in itself.

The show that made her was the show that destroyed her. Her behavior was wrong but at least she held herself accountable and her apology was sincere. I agree with some of the previous posts, the others around her were worse but Jade got the worst of it because she was the loudest

...for me, I don’t think it was just because she was the loudest ...there would always be a time, I feel...when Jade was going to have a ‘downfall’...it was just, how it was going to happen...and when it did happen in the way it did...the others involved, in a way...just became the add-ons, the side-players as it were...the media’s main focus was Jade, because they had hounded her, they were appalled by her/by her celebrity...she was a ‘chav’..she was a ‘pig’..?...how dare she sustain the celebrity that she did, how dare her success be what it was and she be adored by her fanbase..?..I mean, was she not listening to how worthless she was and how undeserving she was because she was told on a regular basis by the media...the others in the house, as awful as they all behaved...were not where the media interest lay...it was only really Jade...this was the moment they had been waiting for...the inevitable moment that was always going to be...


...as awful as Jade’s behaviour in the house over those days and as awful as the behaviour of the others...the media and their snobbery about her celebrity over such a long period of time...the cruelty of it and the persistency of it...?...was horrendous...

I can't remember who said it in the doc, but they said that by putting her entire family in, with the comfort of being waitered on, and in a show and house that made her career the first time, Jade became very comfortable. It gave her the impression that she was within the safety of her own house where she can do whatever. I agree with that completely. The task set the series up completely.

Now, this may not be a popular opinion, but leading up to Jackie's eviction, Shilpa to me was a bit unlikeable. Turning her nose up etc... it's not until Jackie left where Shilpa got better...ironically that is the point where the other 4 started ganging up on her.

Also, all this focus on Jade back in 2007 when the other 3 were worse. I will never know how Jack never got the abuse, and seeing his smarmy face last night really made me angry.

I remember this part, it was so well said Even the way she walked in with Jack looked like she was going into her own house. The part what scares me is her mum saying something like "this isn't going to be good" whilst walking towards the house If you think about it.. what did she mean by saying that? I've always been a strong believer in the phrase "a mother always knows" and the part where Jackie said that was a prime example

In regards to the servants twist it shows how these things can have a lasting effect on the series, take CBB13 where they were handcuffed on launch night, Casey was handcuffed to Lee and we all know how that series went

But even when Jade helped her change her life she was still let down and that should have been a turning point for Jackiey not a reason to keep letting her down and letting her get into situations any normal mother wouldnt .

You can tell she was genuinely sorry and shocked by her behaviour. Jo tried to blame producers and Danielle carried on like nothing had happened. The segment of The News Of The World trying their best to break her (and even fill her with false info/get her to apologise for things she hadn’t even said) made my blood boil. The people behind the news papers were no better than the monster they’d made Jade out to be.

It still upsets me that it took Jade to get cancer to finally be forgiven.

Last night was really hard to watch. I agree with whoever said that how has Danielle got away with it when all 3 and Jack were culpiable in the racism but Jade gets the brunt because of who she was. I remember all the India stuff though and being breaking news on Sky news my mum was like did that all happen and I said yes do you not remember.
I remember when it was announced Jade Jackie and Jack were going in and my stomach sank. It would have been better if just Jade had gone in although it might have been the same result. I did laugh at Leo walking and Dermot saying he got in a Bill police car as he thought it was a real one
Cant really believe it was over ten years ago too it seems a lot longer to me.
