I possibly overate him a little but seriously you put him out like hes nothing.. yet hes a awesome scorer..

stats mean nothing to me, it's what happens in the game's that count, the trophy games, the money games,.
i wont say anything bad about villa, to be fair i dont see that much of him, madrid and barcalona seem to be on sky every week, but he hasn't realy caught my eye yet, as setanta said (in a way) the world cup is where a star can shine.

If he was playing for barca this season i guarantee it would be different.

Its just he plays for a team that never make the headlines..

If he went to chelsea, man utd, barca or real who all wanted him..

but he's one of them frustrating players that sometimes dosent look intrested, but when he plays he's probably the best player in the world, it's a shame he dosen't have the attitude of a rooney or messi.

Ohh i also failed to mention the reason torres stood out is because villa was injured in the semi final and didnt play the final in euro.. who knows he could have scored then...

It was his agent.

He was set to join real, barca and chelsea at certain points during the summer ( i kept track of it as i love him as a player ) and his agents ****ed em all up, he apparenlty ripped up the real contract himself.

Claiming they wernt giving him enough money.. villa has fired that agent.. lol!

Not so much a scorer.. but he lifts the team, very technical, always looking to pass it (makes loads of assists) and can score good goals..

I had to laugh when Villa was linked to Utd the other day, we can't afford him with all the debt even though there is still the chunk of Ronaldo sale money left and Fergie insisting there is money available for Summer transfers.

Definetly need a striker in the summer.

i have big respect for van persie, because he had massive shoe's to fill following henry, and before he got injured and fabregas was out the team, he was the man that was leading the arsenal team.
