[Cases soar in France, Greece, Italy and Spain
... as one expert says he's already
CANCELLED his break
Spain, France and Germany are logging
a rise in infections, while cases in
Caribbean hotspots creeping up
Travellers no longer need to prove
they're Covid-free and destinations have
ushered in post pandemic era
But some health chiefs have called for
a return of masks and self-isolation is
still required in some countries]

It’s ‘sensible’ to reintroduce mandatory mask-wearing in hospitals, says JCVI chief

Comments by health committee chair Professor Andrew Pollard come amid what he called an ‘extraordinary number’ of Covid cases

https://inews.co.uk/news/reintroduce...s-jvci-1724047

what a pity he provided no evidence to say why that would help..

i've always been sceptical about face masks which is not helped by 90% of people not wearing them correctly. If people want to wear them, great

Thought it was accepted that face masks are useless apart from maybe a psychological confidence boost for the wearer !?

I recall a microbiologist on the news saying that wearing a mask is as much use as closing a farm gate to keep the ANTS out !

You could put 250,000 Covid particles on the end of a pin head !

I used to enjoy putting face masks on my head to pretend I'm jewish...the strings fitted perfectly under my ears.

I called myself Jewie stewie.

Daughter’s partner is poorly with covid.
She isn’t well but gets negative results. Probably has one of the many other things going around.
Soooo we have no Granddog this week.

It might not be covid. Could be cold or flu?

the WHO were biased from day 1. They did everything to downplay the virus at the start and have always been reluctant to investigate china as the origin

I thought it was generally accepted now that it originated from that Wuhan Lab ??

I saw a news item a good while back showing that every Coronavirus has an ‘ancestor’ so to speak meaning they can be traced back to a previous strain .

Yet Covid19 had ZERO ancestors meaning it had to be man-made /manufactured .

it seems that even with all the scaremongering over the new variants, the vaccination is still working effectively in protecting against serious illness even months after vaccination
