Not at all, they were not great against Spain and were lucky to get the win. If they play crap, people will say they are crap. They are not being criticised right now because they won You seem to want people to criticise a team who have just won a championship. If they'd lost, they would have faced the same criticism that the men did last year but they didn't. The manager did a great job, the fans got behind the team and the team did their job. What do you want to criticise? Utd ladies get slated a lot by utd fans....as do the mens team at the moment. Where is the difference?

There's a famous saying in football. "football is a game of opinions" what you think was good others may think was crap.

I think that even though they won, looking at some of the scotlines then it wasn't a very competitive competition. I feel the same about this as I do the European tiddlywinks championships or the German moustache championships.

Liverpool won two cups this year and I belittled them for that. So I'm consistent.

Why didn't you give me the third degree when I belittled Liverpool for winning 2 Cup finals? What's different this time?

You're an Everton fan, I expected nothing less from you where Liverpool are concerned. (And obviously as a Utd fan, anyone criticising Liverpool is all good by me). Although in all honesty, after the season we had I avoided any football threads.

I spoke up about the criticism after the mens euros woth the penalty taking. The national team are different to me....if they do good I don't care who they play club football for.

I understand some of our score lines made it look like an pretty mediocre competition but the fact they met Germany who we have only beaten twice before, a side who have never lost a Euro final, and beat them shows the calibre of the team and the coaching staff imo

I'm bored now anyway....enjoy your rugby hope no sheep watch it because its a world cup

Quite right, Alf. When your own team haven't seen a trophy since the peoples princess was a couple of years away from the most ill advised car journey since JFK, I can understand how 2 of those shiny mothers arriving at the ground you used to own must have really screwed you up

Imagine the uproar if he had the audacity to fly back to celebrate their success

He can’t win whatever he does

Takes 20 seconds to tweet, and like I said..

As a high profiled english person at the head of many foundations etc...the members and people the foundations help would surely be within their rights to expect harry to congratulate them after they themselves would feel very proud in the girls achievments.

But no...nothing, not a peep.

Prince peepless harry dont give 2 ****s.

Sky and TalkSport still talk about them without differentiation- which is annoy

They both occasionally advertise something like West Ham are playing Chelsea at 6pm then you get fired up only to discover it’s a women’s match

It’s crazy his cheap their tickets are though so when things get tight with the energy bill rise maybe loads will swap to watching women’s footie

Tickets apparently range from £5 to £15 with all the season tickets well under £100

Barely 1000 people at the Villa/City game on BBC 2 earlier. Men's non league get more of a crowd. But hey, the same people who say women's football deserve more are the same who have no real interest in it whatsoever. So the next time a women gets all bent out of shape about men's football they can look at themselves for not supporting the women's game when they're being given every opportunity atm.

The BBC gives womens and mens football equal coverage, it made me bookmark the premier league page to avoid it
