I've finally gotten into COAD in the last few days! I always liked Hung Up, Jump and Sorry, but it's never clicked with me. I remember listening to it in full as far back as December but I just found it all a bit samey, and lacking soul.

The truth is, it kinda is those things. But I finally listened to the version where the tracks seamlessly transition and it completely elevates the album. The album turns into such a ride. It really does take you back to a different musical era. The transition from Forbidden Love to Jump is the HIGHLIGHT.

Ranking of the songs:

Tbh, the bottom 3 are duds. I mean Push and Like It Or Not are at least something different to round off the album, but honestly I Love New York needs the electric chair.

I've never been a fan of confessions tbh, most of the album just sounds like filler songs I think its actually my least listened to madge album (except for sorry/hung up)

It kinda just felt like damage control after the controversial American life era (which was 1000x better than COAD)

American Life is one I just don’t get tbh I’ve not given significant time beyond track 6 but I only use Hollywood which admittedly is massive
