The first part I don't find particularly relevant, an understanding of the politics and history of a given example does not rest on "being alive at the time". It can offer context and a point of view, obviously; it's not an ace up the sleeve.

If reports are to be believed and the Iron Dome held and did its job, then what was struck by debris is irrelevant as it will not have been the target.

If Iran targeted a school and the school was hit, then the Iron Dome failed.

It was the obvious intention to test the domes defensive capability by trying to overwhelm it. The thing is, it's configurable. It's not static. Israel will have learnt stuff too

Also, everyone is saying will Israel take out Iran's oil production or nuclear plants. The first thing they will target is their command and control and missile and ammo storage sites meaning iran will be less capable of repeating similar attacks

when someone fires 200 ballistic missiles at you, you are at war. It's that simple. These aren't drones, every one of those missiles is capable of doing enormous damage. Israel's allies aren't even pretending otherwise now, it is war and they are involved because they can't let iran win

I'd conceive that you knew anything at all about any subject you like if you demonstrate and evidence that knowledge instead of just insisting that everyone accepts that you know more about it for arbitrary reasons. Do you mean intelligence in terms of military intelligence? Or... Not enough intelligent people? I'm not sure either makes sense really. They don't have the firepower (because Israel's is effectively infinite due to their allies) but that doesnt have anything to do with either variety of intelligence.

Anyway, I didn't mean Israel is in trouble in terms of Iran specifically; their position in the middle East is and always has been precarious, an exposed weakness would be a problem. The press seems to be insistent that no weakness has been exposed but I'll trust you if you're saying differently.
