'Hate' is a strong word, and one I reserve more for murderers and other criminals. People taking part and playing a game on a reality TV show do not deserved to be hated.

Of course they would if there was a presenter up there willing to take them on. Russell Brand would have had them eating from the palm of his hand! If he can deal with thousands of rowdy drunks pelting him with glasses at the Edinbough festival, he can deal with a these dopey airheads.

Davina McCall is clearly out of her depth as an interviewer/presenter and either unable or unwilling to control a hositle crowd, and what was even more disgraceful last night was that she was actually encouraging them.

Anyway this is getting nowhere and we're just going around in circles. We're not going to agree and I'm bored with arguing with you.
I completely agree. Devina is out of her depth in many ways. Russell Brand is a fine man, who would not have let last night happen. He certainly wouldn't have encouraged it. I bet Dermot and other Big Brother members would be disgraced with her actions. I'm going to complain to channel 4 not about the crowd (you can't make idiots see sense) but about Devina.

They listened about the bottle...they had to! Even if they didn't do anything, like stuff eggs up Devinas nose which would be nice, or to kick her in the shin, at least people would know that not all of the British public are that way inclined

I felt a lot better after letting Channel 4 know my feelings. I'm not one to usually complain about anything I've seen on TV because, as Sticks said, I don't think anything will get done about it. But I was so incensed by the behaviour of these people I just had to do something even if it doesn't produce any results.

Hass:

If you want a crowd to be controlled it aint too hard, the person who the crowd most respect (Davina) needs to lay down the law not necessarily directly but by hintful comments that will encourage more cheers and make Makosi feel better e.g. "I dont care how much this crowd boos, I have thoroughly enjoyed you as a housemate, and im sure that you will be remembered in big brother history for your great entertainment for a long time!" that'll hush the booers a little!

Alternatively, which could be an easier option, during the commercial break someone could loudpeak into the crowd saying "Any nasty, threatening or un-called for comments or booing during housemates interviews with Davina will result in persons being removed from the BB crowd, from the security guards."

That is how to control a crowd

I too will be complaining about the inhuman treatment Makosi had to endure. I felt sick to the stomach and feel sick to the stomach of those that advocate booing as something housemates deserve.

Davina didn't help when she complained about Makosi having no remorse.....Why should she. Did Kamal have any remorse about his evil tongue...

Makosi was simply a game player she generated some life into the series. She helped it's ratings.....For Ch4 to allow her to be abused in this way is an utter disgrace...

Most of the evicted housemates have been disrespected and abused this year by rent a mob morons who believe booing should be a way of life for BB......Such imbeciles are kiling BB as a viable entertainment.

As for stopping the crowd booing of course they can if they wanted to. Trouble is they have encouraged this so called pantomime booing and now the mentally deficient brigade flock to get tickets for eviction shows.

Makosi was a lovely girl, shame half the public were too small minded to recognise that, she was misunderstood, yes she did some nasty things etc... but over all she was a great person, stunning and a very very entertaining housemate. After all the entertainment she gave BB6 she deserved more than booing and verbal abuse in the final, and to compensate she deserves every bit of lime light she can get in the future

The crowd were bad, but Davina did nothing to calm them down. But then again Makosi did nothing to help herself. The crowd seem to be getting more and more like rent a mob each year. Iam afraid with Davina it is getting more and obvious which of the housemates she likes and which she doesnt and instead of being professional and giving the same sort of interview to each and every one of them, her interviewing technique changes with her view of them. She should be neutral. For instance last night it was so obvious that she had a soft spot for Eugene hence all the hugs.

The crowds behaviour was absolutely disgusting but i think Davina was an absolute disgrace. No matter what she thought of makosi she should have been professional during the interview but all she did was slag her off and intice the crowd to do the same. i didnt really like some of the things makosi did and said in the house but no one deserved that. it made me feel sick watching makosi sit there taking flak from davina and the crowd with no one to defend her (while she was becoming visibly more upset) and like many others i almost switched off. Davina should be ashamed. I would ring up and complain about the crowd but personally i place all the blame on Davina as she had the power to stop them during the interview but instead inticed the crowd to continue and giggled like a little girl when they were shouting off off.

Two complaints now registered. Sadly I have also felt I needed to complain about Davina and the way she questioned/encouraged the rent a mob.

Davina asking Makosi had she got no remorse for all the things she had done was bang out of order and fed the yobs the ammunition they needed...

Makosi was in a game why should she be expected to announce remorse.....She played it how she thought fit and no contestant should appologise for that.....

I have also complained about the behaviour of the crowd last night.

Hass, I think security could have done a lot more to keep the crowd quieter; however, they also did nothing when the lemon was thrown at Vanessa so I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

Davina was completely unprofessional and out of her depth. I think Russell Brand would be brilliant at that job; he would certainly have more control of the crowd, and the interview would have been more light hearted which might have controlled the atmosphere a bit. Davina only served to turn the crowd against Makosi even more.

And I agree with AndyJK about the use of the word hate. Although there have been housemates who I have disliked this year (I really disliked Makosi, Craig, Maxwell and Saskia) I would never say I hated any of them. To be honest, I think hating someone who you've never even met, and who you have only observed in an artificial environment, is unhealthy and sad.
