Difficult but not impossible my antipodean FM. Wilson managed fine in 1974 with only 301 seats until the general election six months later which returned him with a small majority. What's more there were only 4 seats between Wilson and Heath. This time round Labour finished with 49 LESS SEATS. A minority Conservative government is far better, AND infinitely more democratic than a rainbow coalition of LOSERS.

Funny how interested you are in British politics, personally I couldn't give a toss about the Aussie government, you could all go to hell in a handcart for all I care! But it's quite refreshing having a troll to rise to the challenge to on a daily basis so looking forward to next round. BTW have you done a recount yet?

I'm not sure where I stand on this really, I really want the referendum but I despise the Tories but with a majority coalition the LibDems could potentially put more policies into action....I'm torn.

Yes the Radio 5 Political Reporter John P.
has said this is the meeting that should bring out a Deal
of Conserv-LibDem.

I agree Dezzy
it gives LibDem more Co -Power
so a answer is needed today.

If they Milk this on another 48 hours
it will look stupid.

Clegg can pick a Party
as his Party are Pushing him to do it.

75% of LibDem MP's jump into the New Conservative Deal
that gives them better Power.

If Clegg walks away from both
then he will be Hated.

here's what angus thinks is trolling
"wrong ... a minority conservative government would find it extremely difficult to pass laws. Cameron knows that.... you apparently don't."
mahahaha
I take an interest in world politics, not just British politics. It's called having open mind and not a blinkered one.
angus you said:" A minority Conservative government is far better, AND infinitely more democratic"
Wrong.
center left votes
lab/lib plus sdlp = 318
right wing fascist votes( :P)
con/DUP plus unionist = 315

this is why lab can form a minority government while cons cannot. They won't get bills through. That BS about 1974 means nothing.

more people votes centre left.
Cameron didn't get a majority despite his dream run because the MAJORITY of people DIDN'T want him.

When he leaved Downing St he will no longer be PM. He will still be leader of Labour for a few months though.
