Sophie was a bit thick, and put weight on. All that meant she was less threatening. The 9th series like the 8th wasn't one of the best. Not sure Rachel was REALLY pretty. She was ok, but enough of a girl next door type for women to identify with. Same probably with Kate who was a bit of a tomboy. BB3 was a long time ago as well and I think the audience maybe wouldn't allow such a female gameplayer to win now.
