Christiano Ronaldo acceleration 93, sprint speed 94..

Bayern left back acceleration 74 sprint speed 78.

Whats the point in having the stats if they mean nothing?

He kkept up with ronaldo, just next to him the whole time..

Maybe he was pulling out of him, no? He's probably stronger?

That's strange. Sure you were holding onto sprint? I'll have to play it again.

I gave up, i will play it with my friends tomorrow night see what they think.

One of my mates is brilliant, 1 on 1 i cant touch him its ridiculous. He will lose like 1 in 25 games online, maybe this will be good stop him scoring so freely against me..

That's probably how you'll find out how good or bad the game is. I mean, I'm pretty rubbish so it takes me awhile to get to grips with any new game. A pro like your friend will have it sussed fairly soon and give his verdict on it.

You're right - they did tweak it needlessly without ever making any drastic changes, you know? It's just that Fifa have made such a huge effort over the last year or two... they're catching up big time. I preferred FIFA's last game, which probably had a bit to do with the online gaming part, which was much better, imo anyway.

i think the last 3 pes games have made it to easy to score past the goalkeeper.

Fifa have made it much much more realistic.
Which is good, sometimes i would like it a bit easier though.

Fifa arent playing catch up, ive only been playing since fifa 08 and fifa smash pes with the amount of games they sell.

Im going to play it more tonight and get used to it..

Yeah I agree, it just felt like change for the sake of it to me. Although, while that annoyed me I still enjoyed the games more and found them more playable than Fifa, it never lost it's "just one more game..." factor and the Master League was as enjoyable as ever. They did get complacent though and just got lazy with the last two games and I say that as someone who only plays offline, never played Xbox live although I've heard Pro Evo's online mode is pretty poor

That doesnt neccesarily make them better games though, that's just down to a much bigger marketing spend by EA more than anything.

The majority of people that buy fifa i know say they will only buy fifa though.

Ive played pes a couple of times and it seems like a bit of a poor mans fifa.

In terms of gameplay fifa are far ahead.

what is the AI like nowadays for Fifa

because as well as playing against the computer I always wanted to pick the teams and then watch the comp v comp

but last Fifa I played I set Man Utd v lower league team and it was never a realistic result and all the players seemed of equal quality instead of Man Utd players being better and passing, shooting, tackling etc

I disagree, I've always preferred Pro Evo's gameplay. Up until the last two years the only thing that was better about Fifa was the fact that they had all the merchandising rights so you had the proper team names and everything. Fifa has taken big steps forward recently I admit, while Pro Evo has taken them backwards but I still just findit more fun playing PES for some reason

The PES demo is class tbf, really close this year, and I've been a FIFA fan since '99!

Think I'll stick with FIFA though. I hate PES' Master League and lack of Championship - League 2 teams.

I was pretty impressed by Fifa, i didn't buy Fifa 10 but i think i'll buy 11 this time round. Is it just me or is it pretty easy?.. i'm already winning on top class level lol. My only question is about the penalties.. i haven't worked out how to get my keeper to dive or me to hit my penalty to either side of the goal.. can anyone help me please?

To save: Move with the left stick, dive with the right stick.

To score: Hold down B to power it, get it in the green area for accuracy and hold down the way you want to go as you run up to the ball.

They're pretty difficult, but effective once you've got the tekkerz.

After playing the demo non-stop for a day or two, I must say, it is ****ing amazing. So much better than Fifa 10 it's unreal.

Also, I pre-ordered from Game and got a promo code for the Creation Centre beta so I can use it before the game is out, and omg it's brilliant.
