It was in a letter that the school sent home so I doubt it was wrong (unless they lied, which to be honest wouldnt suprise me) and she was the one who chucked it in the bin and didnt give a **** so yeah, she deserved it

It's textiles, not even a proper GCSE and they have other things to care about that are far more important. They are on a budget (assuming you go to a state school) and they don't have endless storage space for pieces of work which clearly weren't up to expectations.
