He will be final 3. The producers want a girl-boy-group final IMO. So even if Marcus is against anyone in B2 he will survive.
The aim for the next 2 weeks seems to be to get rid of Janet and Amelia IMO. Janet this week then Amelia next. Having Misha in the final like they have seemingly wanted all along.
Actually I think this week they are trying to get Little Mix in B2 against Janet so they can keep them (suggesting to me Little Mix are maybe scraping above the barrel at the moment and not coming first or second in the polls), hoping next week then that Little Mix get the sympathy bounce (and hopefully a good performance) to the final meaning one of Amelia or Misha finish bottom of the votes next week so they can get rid of one of them. Thats the plan anyway I think.
Your Marcus bet IMO is very safe, I think only Janet could have defeated him, but the production have literally thrown the textbook of how to get rid of a contestant at her. Actually it may backfire that she forgot the words as it means Janet's supporters will vote in their droves (actually why the judges comments actually werent as bad as they should have been maybe trying not to stoke this added fire up for them), and with that I think Janet could still survive B2, but I think the damage is already done for her in terms of winning the show.
Amelia definitely got the pimping treatment this week suggesting to me they wanted her through this week for some reason, but will sacrifice her next week. Her second performance made my ears bleed, yet the judges said she was great, listen over and she couldnt hit a single high note. Awful. I used to like that song too.
However Marcus sang a Stevie Wonder song and murdered it I thought. The fact he is favourite shows how sub-par this competition is this year. However, good luck with your bet, the fact only Misha managed 2 good performances last night and Little Mix were rather average at best meas your best is still looking very solid given Marcus' very good first performance.
