Why weren't Caroline, Becky and Conor (and later Luke S and Ash) not punished for discussing nominations in the bathroom?
It's blatently obvious - Conor even said the "N" word when he said that nobody dare nominate Adam (when what he meant was nobody would dare nominate me). Both Becky and Caroline both said they were sure they would be up and out this Friday (YAWN) and Conor said that he was surprised that he didn't have more nominations (or something along those line). They spoke about it for at least 40 or more minutes (long enough for both Carol and Beck to have showers - and yes I did have to bathe my eyes in anticeptic solution when Becky decided to look around the shower door stark naked! bleuuuk) Why is there one set of rules for some and yet another set for others? |

I agree - BB deffo need to do something more punishable then just cutting the hot water. Most of the HM's have already showered or bathed when they do it so it's actually pointless and making them look like idiots and proves they have completely lost control.
The HM's involved in the discussions should be punished. I would like to see that person/those HM's involved put up automatically for the next week's eviction. I expect "hard man" Conor would pretty quickly change his tune about "I don't give a **** about BB rules". Or even have that persons bitching sessions or private conversations about other HM's broadcast to the rest of the house - that would be great as it would be entertaining for us to see the reactions and stir up the HM's which will result in even more bitching, arguments, gameplan changing and back stabbing sessions and much more entertainment for us. |

Insiders have gotten away with a lot more with all their influencing that has gone unpunished. Obviously their fans will make that its not true but I really dont care about that. I think its a shame the show is losing its integrity.

I'm not a fan of any of the insiders and I completely disagree with you. The insiders have been punished a lot. There is nothing wrong with sitting around bitching about someone you hate and calling them vile, etc. If people choose to allow that to influence their vote then so be it. Everyone is open to doing that. Talking about how certain people are targetting you or telling how someone else is going to be targetted next so they'll vote with you is definitely influencing in the rule-breaking way imo.

But everyone influences noms to some extent, everytime one housemate goes up to another and has a bitch about someone else then that's influencing their perception of that housemate and could alter their decision. The problem is it's a bit of a grey area, if Caroline steps up her bitching about a couple of people in the days leading up to monday is that considered influencing them?
And yeah I am more likely to see it that way being a Conor fan, and obviously the Outsider fans will see it in a different light, I don't see what the big deal is about that |

Why not have Caroline have some of her convos played back. She starts on a Tuesday and systematically influences the weaker housemates. This might be seen as clever but it had ruined this years BB. No wonder people are switching off in droves. |

Let's face it they certainly weren't going to do anything to stop the subtle yet blatently obvious nominations talk this week. They knew exactly who was going up and probably even helped it along by allowing face to face noms to go ahead - BB was listening to all the conversations and knew that most of the HM's would nominate Lauren and Luka A. But they had to make this weeks eviction night an exciting one as they're up against the Olympics opening ceremony and need to compete to get viewers.
Look how much of a stir and publicity it's caused already... and you think Channel 5 were going to give that up? |
