I think I'm in a minority here because the incident absolutely disgusted me. It's not about political correctness to me so much as respect for a fellow human being and cultural differences. I've travelled in India extensively, yes, they do eat certain foods with their hands. So what, so does every other nation on Earth.

It was the way in which it was done which I found appalling; the sneering way in which Ashleigh chose to snigger and belittle someone. Of course Deana doesn't bloody eat cereal with her hands; nor does anyone else I have ever met, Indian or otherwise. It was a direct barb at her culture, untruthful and ignorant.

Add to that working-class Scott's ridiculously inappropriate superiority complex and the hyena-type cackles from Becky and Conor, and maybe you see why some are angry about it. The formal warning was the correct action to take.

I'm not sure I followed everything, but Indians do eat with their hands-Africans too..infact many countries eat with their hands There's nothing wrong with him pointing it out, what was disgusting is him and assley bitching and insulting the way she eats

No they shouldnt have been ejected :/ It wasn't said in a nasty 'bullying' sort of way, its just an every day conversation, unfortunately for them they had it on tv but still, it wasn't that bad.
