I'd like to give them some rules: Here's a spear and a hunting knife... off you go... it gives the animal a fighting chance and whatever you kill you got fair and square. I have a feeling that hunting wouldn't be such an attractive proposition if they had to get up close - which takes balls, instead of firing a gun from hundreds of metres away - which doesn't.

As long as they're not endangered species and he isn't poaching then nah I'm not gonna take some moral highground over it even though I wouldn't do it myself, it can even benefit the populations of some big game

Thinking that killing for fun is wrong is not particularly sensistive. Most people who think it's okay to blast away at stuff with a shotgun (or in Scott's case, to ping away at something with his little airgun) would turn veggie if they had to kill and butcher their own meals.

Scott talking about wanting to bring "trophies" back from Africa means only one thing: he wants to shoot something he's not going to eat.
