I loved New York and also stayed for a year in South Carolina and spent a lot of time on the coast in North Carolina so love those states for some great memories. Would love to visit Nevada and always wanted to go to Louisiana

The entire Northwest is absolutely beautiful, especially the west coastal areas near Vancouver, Canada, down through Oregon. Think: rain forest and granola, and hikers. Having to leave there was very difficult.

2nd, New England. Just all of it. Good access to Montreal, the Atlantic, and great seafood, not to mention the dramatic Autumns.

3rd, California, because it has a north and a south, and almost too many things to do. It's ridiculously amazing. I would push it to number one in an instant, but I'm nostalgic. Where we are now is nowhere I've been in my life, and it's amazing, and I feel spoiled to the point of throwing up. ... Florida was very beautiful for the year I spent there, but too many snakes, and lizards, and, hell, I don't like it that humid weather all the time with the hurricane season(we got 3 of them on our stay there!.) Walk to the market less than a mile away meant having to change clothes as soon as you got home. Heh heh.

Final answer: California. Runner up: Seattle or West Washington state.

Edit: for those of you considering Nevada, my sister-in-law has been living there for a substantial amount of time with her family, and when we suggest we come visit them, she blasts that idea and they're usually on their way to us in about an hour. Just sayin.

Probably most of them, I would have to say California since I have been there as a child and I have an Aunt and Cousins who live there now.
It is where I will be heading once I finish Uni this year,hopefully I will see some other States then too.

I've been to New york and Florida and loved it but the state I'm most intrigued by is the Lone Star state - Texas. It seems like a amazing place.

Going Florida or Vegas when 21..that would be the first time I go to the states.
