When my son was around 3, he was in the chip shop with Gav and when they got up to the counter Gav said to the woman, can I have a bag of chips please? and Luke says and a bag of burgers please?

When my daughter was around 6 we were in the car and Dancing Queen was on the radio, when the song ended she said, Mom, are they telling her to eat up? (Dig in, the Dancing Queen)

one of the kids at work stayed with their nana and auntie while his parents went on honeymoon, and they both made his parents a book of all the things he did and said while they were away.

it was huge, they used like half of an A3 sheet of paper to make all the pages and it was like 10 pages long.

i want to make books for my kids too I think. just pictures of them as they get bigger and things they say etc.

There's this little boy at work who I absolutely love and he may or may not be my fave.... (i didnt say that) and I babysit for him, and i just missed a call from his mother today.

so i ring her up asking if everythings okay, and that i had a missed call and she tells me that the boy rang me himself by accident!! i couldn't stop laughing. it's so funny cause this boy is a crazy little kid. i can only imagine what he'd do if i had answered...

both of these things happened in the past week

I did mat time/story time whatever you want to call it, and i said 'i hate tuesdays'. I then hear a voice say next to me 'i hate vampires' in the most serious and sad tone i've ever heard in my life. It was a little girl and I asked her about it and she said saw a vampire in 'scooby dooby doo'

i laughed for like hours. it still makes me laugh. i hate vampires HA

it's the most random thing i've ever heard a child say while i've worked there.


another thing was I asked a child how many currant buns were in my hands (there was 3, it's a song)

So I asked this little boy to count them

he counted to 19...

I couldn't stop laughing again and i asked him if he was sure whether there was 19 or not and he said he was.
