Big Brother is a social experiment, and Charlotte winning says something about society today. Society has become more daring, and the kids of today are going to become more promiscuous. Girls drink a lot more, and don't really care anymore on average. The hero, and leader of the pack is the one that is the most daring, and most drunk. People have become in general more argumentative, and there is an age divide between strangers that lessens rapidly with none strangers. The boys no longer have to take charge of situations, and the sensible father figure is rapidly becoming a thing of the past. There is a loss of control in society, noise levels will rise, and street layabouts will rise.

All on 50k+ salaries and "contributing to society" in ways that most people who would have branded them "products of broken Britain" never will. Not that job titles or salaries even matter. The point is, they are functional people having fun while theyre young. The fact that people want to brand this "immoral" is really, really sad.

It's what I like about her - she's a harmless, generally warmhearted girl who happens to be a bit (ok, very) rough around the edges but that surface stuff shouldn't matter. Even when she does play up its out of insecurity because she can't believe that just being herself is "enough" and that is a shame... Not something to hate her for.

But it often seems that people prefer an empty, narcissistic shell of a person - so long as they dress modestly and mind their P's and Q's... even when there's not much underneath. THAT is a sad reflection on society. Choosing meaningless, superficial, taught, "good manners" over a genuinely good heart. Look at the people who DO rise up trough politics. Ok so case in point: I was just sat on the bus to work and... Behind me there were two junkies merrily discussing where to get the cheapest, best quality gram-for-gram heroin. The girls in your scenario by charlottes age had finished or were in the latter stages of university. They could hold their bladder sufficiently, conduct conversations adequately and during disagreements could express themselves without swearing and crying?
Where I live 'kids' like charlotte go on to have kids like charlotte, not many of them become reality TV stars.
Anyone who was honest with themselves could not say they would be happy with the thought of their child exhibiting those behaviours.

The only part - and I say this in all honesty as a dad of 2 girls - that I wouldn't like so much is the being unable to be in a heated discussion without breaking down. But that us 100% down to her struggling to cope with frustration and anger. I would blame myself in that case.

The rest of it? No i would have no problem with my daughters being like that at 23. At 30? Maybe. But 23 is just a baby! I know "society" has a ridiculous expectation that anyone over 18 (or 21) should be a fully fledged "adult at all times" but its utter nonsense. Let the girl be young.

It's hypocrisy, anyone who goes online to judge and sling mud has a general disrespect for others so I'm afraid half of this forum are "included" with the junkies, criminals and Charlottes .

I have no doubt I'll be banned soon as I've been warned twice for reiterating that. But I dont really care. It's a fact. Charlotte is a lot more respectful of people than the forum members intent on tearing her down are, and I have infinitely more respect for her as a member of society than I do for them.
