I am certainly no fan of Jim's views and his stand up, but he is a perfect housemate. I only mentioned Linda Nolan's name to my 62 year old mother and her first response was 'she's a bitch' and she has never watched more than 5 mins of any BB, including this one.

How that Sam is still in there whilst Lionel Blair and Liz were kicked out is beyond me, they have both made me laugh out loud over the past few weeks. I didn't even notice Sam was in there until last night, I think thats the first time i've seen her move.

Exacty. Anyone can see what a bitch Linda is. She moans all the time and tries to provoke Jim constantly. She had a go at him for being too nice.

I am a mature woman, and I have not voted for Jim. Based on what I have seen on the show, I dislike Linda's behaviour, and I have thought that Jim showed some good qualities and no real chauvinism or sexism.

Chuff-me-dizzy posted a link to a Daily Mirror article

http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news...6#.UuE9uvunxH1

I found some of these jokes dreadful and offensive, but that's why I don't watch a lot of comedy shows. Billy Connolly is one of the few stand-ups who can make me double up with laughter, while never offending any group. As long as people keep attending and laughing at lesser comedians, they will continue to give audiences what they're after. I'm not sure that Jim means to offend. He's just an old-style comic, stuck in a rut, and not sure of where to go next. He's got potential to be better than that, in my opinion, based on what I have seen on CBB.

Back to Big Brother, I haven't decided whether I'd want to vote or not, or even who I like best, but Luisa has been one of my favourites from the start. Having seen the jokes in that article, I think that if Linda had done a bit of homework, then sat him down and got him talking about some of the issues he jokes about in his routines, then it would have not only made for a far more interesting programme, but she'd have been far more popular and we'd have got a better idea of what makes Jim Davidson tick.
