There has been far worse people representing the gay community, Dennis being the prime example.

Mark is quite harmless really, but I don't think that just because someone is gay the entire community would get behind them. Ultimately, people use their mind to support someone, not anything else imo.

No idea why people find it hard to believe there is a gay community. Not saying they all agree but there might be a general concentus the same way the brony community is behind Ashleigh.

I knew the answer before you asked, actually.

There are about 3-4 million gay people in the UK. Sorry to have to tell you that only a tiny number of them go to what you regard as "gay community" places. Those who do are predominantly in their teens and early twenties.... and only a small minority even of that age group.
