![]() I would pay for a live feed. As would many others. It would offset any additional cost they reckon they will incur from putting it even online..but they won't even consider it I do not think BB is BB without live feed |

I did that for BB11, but all they were offering was the live feed and that was it. I'd pay for it, just for that, but if they want more people to be involved they need to create something worth spending on. Last edited by Beetlejuice; 04-07-2015 at 01:05 PM. |

Let's be honest. They aren't listening to fans and won't. They will continue to run the show into the ground that they dug it up from in 2011.
Unless they have a drastic overhaul of the format or just leave the foundations alone, it will crumble away into nothing.

They need to bring back open auditions. I have no idea why they scrapped them after BB13.
Ever since BB14, over 80% of the housemates have been recruits, have agents, or have been in the media and/or entertainment industry prior to entering the house. Even the trashiest and most fame-hungry cast in BB history (BB12) ironically were not in the media before entering the house, and were just normal people, bar one or two. Yeah of course not the way it is now. But in the next few years if it improves.

I don't know because it's been a mess for 2 years now and BB17 might not be any different.

They need to have open auditions again with actual real people and not recruits. The basic format of nominations EVERY week, no alterations whatsoever. Rule breaks treated with severity. And lastly, live feed.
It would absolutely flourish if we were able to watch whenever we wanted: that's the attraction with BB. Or it was back in the glory days.

I don't think skipping a year would help, TBH.

Apparently Ben Frow wants live feed or some shizzle like that?
By live feed, does mean 24/7 or just an hour a night or something? |

In regards to cost issues. Money could be saved by... 1. Having a subscription charge that is worth paying 2. Putting less celebrities in the 2 series (Just cut down on 2 or maybe 3 and you'd probably save yourself well over £100k) |

The money they could of potentially earn if they charged for an online feed. If 1m people signed up for £1 that's £1m in the pot for them.

Can't remember. Something like that. Probably a bit too much given what was on offer. Get the price down to 9.99, have people be able to pay with their phone credits as well as the normal ways and have loads of features and easy to access archival footage, like every episode of every series just waiting there for you to re-watch, and I think it could be a winner.
Anything that displays some inspiration on their part would be nice. Instead of just prodding away at people until they lash out at each other Last edited by Beetlejuice; 04-07-2015 at 01:08 PM. |

That's a reasonable price. I don't see why they don't do live feed packages.
Yearly Package = £30 (Save £1) 24/7 Live Feed for Big Brother and both series of Celebrity Big Brother in January and August. Summer Package = £23 24/7 Live Feed for Big Brother and Summer Celebrity Big Brother Separate Live Feed Passes - Big Brother = £15 Celebrity Big Brother = £8 (per series) That way, the viewers who want live feed can pay for it, and Channel 5 get something out of it, instead of airing it for free. Which also covers Channel 5's cost excuse for not having it in the first place, as it is making them money. Last edited by Jason.; 04-07-2015 at 01:14 PM. |

Didn't a lot of people get it for free? And I'm sure Oathy used to mention something about them not being allowed to make money out of it for some reason. I was always a bit confused about this issue.

Even at £10 it's £800,000. I'm sure that would cover the cost a bit.

But even with a few tens of thousands of subscribers you are only going to have a few thousand, at most, watching at any one time. They probably don't think it is worth doing, for that amount of extra Internet buzz it would generate. |

It just always seemed obvious to me that in the age of twitter and other forms of 24/7 social media, that the live coverage lent it self very well to that. All they need to do is add some extras. For example... An exclusive diary room feed- to go along with the main feed - every Sunday at a fixed time for when they do nominations. So you know who is up there and then. And then the following day you could do a save and replace task (which I always liked) at a fixed time. Bring back BBLB (Instead of BOTS which has always been awful) and you can start the noms straight after that finishes on a Sunday lunchtime. Maybe even show the first nomination and then tell people if they want to see who will be up go to the website now and watch it as it unfolds. Do some kind of web version of BIg Brother's Big Mouth with Iain Lee as well. He's much funnier when he's given the freedom to do what he wants. There are so many extra features they could add and as long as they advertise it all well, it could be great again. It's got to be better than coming up with ever more desperate stunts each week to contrive drama that soon becomes insufferable. Last edited by Beetlejuice; 04-07-2015 at 02:23 PM. |
