I don't know about Doncaster but there are places where you can get properties even well under £100,000. Probably not the best condition or area but £100,000 will buy a property.

I live in the west midlands and properties vary from about £70,000 upwards.

Yes some of any type of behavior can be edited out not all obviously. Also depends on what BB want to show, if they want to show more of arguing and bickering. Then some of the 'entertaining' stuff could well be edited out.
And on top of that clearly different people will find different things entertaining.
