Regardless of what the actual truth is about what happened with Sam, I have zero respect for her who is the one to air this whole thing on television.

I'm saying regardless of what the truth is and people's opinion of Steph and these relationships, A SEPARATE POINT is that I don't have respect for her whatever the situation is because of how she's displayed the whole thing on TV. I can't judge Sam for that because I've never seen him on TV. |

Since we've only ever seen one side and don't know the truth, I'm not content to put all the blame on Steph or all on Sam. The reality is that two media wh0res were dating and now they broke up. Big deal. Neither deserve defending. |

Ah, well my lack of respect isn't about whether Sam is deserving of that treatment or not. Even if he was deserving I don't like media *****s as you say.

Interesting reading so many comments ... esp from both extreme sides ... She certainly creates division and that's always a more colourful option IMO
She seems to be perceived as a smiling assassin which is interesting because I think she's too honest to pull that off and is instead playing everything out in front of our eyes with all her cards on the table... Her train of thought is actually a pile up, she struggles to know what is the right thing to do but each decision she makes is an honest one in that moment and is put on display for all to see... i don't see a hidden agenda but I think she would be better off it she actually had one. People who think Sam is the victim have every reason to think so but anyone who saw the original airing of his appearance on First Dates will not only realise how lucky Steph was that he never took her to dinner, but will also realise what a self serving arrogant person he is.... In fact he was so awful he received threats on line over his poor treatment of the girl he was with.... And when ch 5 repeated the series, that included him, they purposely edited it to try and make him look better... But even with careful editing he still came across as a total nob head. |

I don't think she's an idiot, she chose Jeremy over Sam, she befriended Tiffany over Gemma, she was the only one to take something positive from Gillian McKeith and she beat all the other girls to second place in the final...I think she makes some clever decisions tbh...but I do agree that she's immature....she's also young, as were a lot of the others in there who equally behaved immaturely....Megan, Scotty....in fact the most immature of all were Gemma and Tiffany and they were 34 years old. I believe that 12 years from now when Steph is their age she will be a much more rounded person then they are right now.

Remembering Kerry

I bet she was 100% glad to have Sam when she got sacked from Hollyoaks.
Clearly he stuck beside her then and they were not just dating, they lived together apparently. So to in any way do what she did as to him on a National TV series, is what most are furious with and I doubt anyone would want, or even want to think a Partner they had would ever go on TV in a daily TV reality show and actually do that either to them publicly. That was when I went off her, I wanted to like her in CBB but I hate the way she did this, had she held back until after the series well and good but she was a disgrace and I said elsewhere, had I done what she did as to this and Sam,I'd have been massively ashamed of myself, something she clearly is not, even now. |

Joey I get why people don't like her.... And why others do like her .. It's all a matter of deciding the reason behind a persons behaviour and weather or not that reason is acceptable to yourself... But let's stop seeing Sam as a victim, because if anyone finds Stephs behaviour in public an issue then they need to see his rendition a year earlier on First Dates...he was the trail blazer in poor behaviour and if you believe that Steph is wrong than she had a good teacher. ... He is no broken hearted, mistreated victim ... He is a vain ill mannered and arrogant little climber who will be delighted with the media attention Steph has hurled his way.

I'm still at a loss to explain her. A decent streak very deep down, but hidden underneath a layer of unpleasant immaturity perhaps?
Her story about the OD was heart breaking and seemed very genuine. She is a good actress, but that really seemed to come from the heart. Somebody as sensitive to the thoughts of others can't be a 'bad' person. They wouldn't have it in them. Most of us do have that mean streak, it's how we survive, but some don't and they suffer for it. Nobody should ever feel as she described, and I hope she (ON HER OWN!!!) has learned enough about life's highs and to make sure she never goes back there. Her immaturity still shines through though. Why go on about the Sam situation. Why not just have a bit of dignity and class, wish him well, and say no more? You can think what you like, you don't have to blurt it all out. |
