Yes I've noticed the difference in personalities. John speaks up more and Edward is more passive, taking it all with peace and love. I think are pretty smart from what I've heard and did well at school. It's also smart to let their mother take care of the money, your mother is the person least likely to **** you over. They were pretty young when they started and she will make sure there is a comfortable amount when the fame is over.

I don't think they are more defensive than others in there, in fact no one seems to let them have a word in edgeways. They criticize them and shut down any response. Everyone is entitled to defend themselves from criticism.

Sad thing is, they probably will get in the top 3 again, because like it or not, they do have a huge fanbase who pretty much excuse all their behaviour, they could literally kick a puppy on stage and a lot of people would be like 'oh, well that's Jedward!' they'll definitely be at least in the final and I predict they'll come 3rd to Calum and Cosmo.

I can't tell them apart for the life of me, but I did notice that you hear "John stop it" a lot more than you ever hear "Edward stop"
Same goes for when they flooded the bathroom last time, it was john, while Edward sat aside and then after, Edward cleaned up while John slid about

Actually I am sure you will find it was Edward who flooded the bath over the floor in that series not John.
