I doubt anyone on here as found there self in a drug rehab waiting room full of junkies talking openly how they bring friends urine with them to use when they get tested to see if they are drug free so they can stay on a methadone program.

Hmm. Maybe its different elsewhere in the country but oop North at places like that, they have to do a sample there and there , they aren't allowed to bring in pots of piss. I know this as my father in laws partner is on 'the methadone program' having spent a tough time in her life on heroin and working as an escort. Been on methadone for around 10 years now. I actually cannot imagine somewhere that has to monitor patients allowing random pisspots to be used tbh

Have you? I don't think you have if you think security is as lax at rehab centres as you think it is to allow such a con to easily happen never mind it being commonplace.

I DEFINITELY have. I decided one homeless man did not equal every homeless man. Why? What did you decide?

Better to go buy a hot drink and some cold eatables if you have some change to spare, than give money, as if they are really homeless they would welcome that. If they are begging for drink or drug money then they can't spend hot drink or food given to them.

we are in the presence of celebrity.

Just before Christmas there was a guy begging outside Lidl, he was dressed nicely and had a backpack, I didn't give him anything on they way in, but felt a bit bad so on the way out I asked if he would like a sandwich and a drink so he said okay but then got very picky about the type of sandwich he wanted..no cheese...and no apple juice

a few weeks later there was another guy offering to take back the trolley and keep the pound, I sat and watched he must have made 20.00 in 10 minutes

I bought one of these £1 trolleys the other day, took a fair bit to get it in the back of the car but I am pretty pleased with it as a planter stand in my garden. Well done Aldi

Some of us on here have lived in big bad world and speak from experience.
The older you get the harder you get, people come to this country to make better life for them selves but there are a few that think we should take care of their addiction, its young fit men that are on the streets and why do you think their own family are not helping them!

They won't help them selves.

To think its only fit young men on the streets proves your ignorance on the subject.

Its not only young men on the streets but 90 percent in the town centre on Thursday were young men I saw only two women in door ways, so don't use the word ingnorance when talking about me.
