I went to a "show" once with a medium with the girls from work. I was sceptical but everyone said this dude was the real deal....it was rubbish. Although at one point he shouted "who's anne" I literally **** myself....wasnt me though biggest load if **** ive ever sat through

Same as those hypnotists who make people think they're chickens etc. There was one fairly well known one Gavin went to see years ago and while he was at it someone he knew got called on stage and hypnotised, he told Gav after he got paid to do it

his show most haunted also was for entertainment, i don't give a damn if he's fake or not, i just love watching him on that show, and he shows to be having a bit of fun in the house

I never watched it but if it was just kind of "general ghosts" for lack of a better term that he was claiming to contact then that's harmless enough I suppose. It's the ones that actually pray on genuine grieving people or get personal with a person that bother me

Except when it comes to mediums, from the very acts they put on publicly there is evidence for them being con artists.

Of course that can't be proof to categorically say the dead cannot be contacted in anyway, just as there's no "proof" that can categorically say there is no God. Just that the vast majority of these showmen are charlatans.
