At ours they even tried to tell us that we had to use company branded mugs and couldn't have our own! They tried to take my Spider-man mug goddamn it! We had a mini-rebellion and all of the company mugs kept getting "accidentally broken".

I'd take the job I enjoyed. I actually had this situation a few years ago, I started a new job and I absolutely hated it for a variety of reasons to the point where it was affecting my everyday life, making me miserable at work and at home, it was probably the worst period of my life actually but I stuck with it for longer than I should have because of the pay, but in the end I requested a different role within the company that was lower paid and even though it was a step down it was definitely the right decision for me.
Generally speaking I'd take a job for more money even if it's not as enjoyable as the previous one but if we're talking extremes like 'hate' then I'd never put myself in that situation again. It's just not worth it.
