A lesbian being one of Ann's closest friends in the house doesn't mean she isn't homophobic but it does mean she is friendly with and can form friendships with homosexuals even if some of her outdated beliefs go against homosexual rights. She's not hateful against a group and that counts for something.

Like I said in the other thread, there's different levels to things. Ann ain't bad and she's a big / oddly entertaining character on this season (oddly considering her personality).

Also, that alternative Amanda situation is very interesting and something I'm curious about now. I'm wondering if she doesn't like to see sexual behavior period and if that would actually make her less close to Amanda or if it's different for her if it's not two people who met on the show, knowing each other for only a few days, and having a showmance (/bromance in Andrew & Shane's case).
